As part of the Electronic and Software Systems department of the company, you will be part of the GNC team which missions are:

· Guarantee the performance of the system by technically defining it, specifying the materials to be supplied and the tests to be conducted,

· Carry out dimensioning studies of the components of the flight GNC chain (sensors, actuators, computer),

· Carry out design studies of flight control algorithms (analysis of piloting strategies, verification of the feasibility of a mission with respect to this strategy, algorithmic design),

Internship subject :” Dynamic control allocation for multi-engine launch vehicles”

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

· Development of the command allocation algorithms for Zephyr.

· Development of the FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery) algorithms using non-convex optimization, etc...

· Validation and qualification on the GNC flight simulator

During this internship, you will gain practical experience with:

  • Using Matlab Simulink for GNC development in aerospace applications
  • Multi-disciplinary optimization techniques
  • Systems modeling and state-space representation
  • Command and control engineering principles for dynamic systems

Preferred experience and skills

  • Education: Pursuing a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • Technical skills: Strong foundation in physics, algorithm development, and complex systems
  • Soft skills: Team player, curious, and adaptable
